How to get to Alghero

Sardinia has three international airports: Alghero-Fertilia in the North West, Olbia on the North Eastern coast and Cagliari in the South.

Ryanair offers economical flights directly to Alghero from many European cities. Destinations and flights vary according to time of year.

Alghero's airport is a 15 minute drive from  town and car hire is available at the airport. There are also regular buses into town every hour on the hour between 06:00 and 23:00.

Getting around

Car hire is available in town and you can also rent mopeds and bicycles in Alghero.

It is easy to get from Alghero to beautiful beaches on foot or by local bus.
