The network for sustainable, environment friendly responsible tourism in Sardinia

We all know, or at least suspect, that modern mass tourism in its current form threatens the environment and destroys exactly what we actually love - not only pure nature in all its diversity and beauty, but also tradition and culture - the very soul of the Sardinian people. That is why a change in thinking is so important.

Sardinian companies of various types from all over the island have joined forces and created Rete Ecoturismo Sardegna, an association of responsible tourism providers. The focus is on the responsible handling and protection of this island's extraordinary nature, as well as the sharing of Sardinian authenticity, history, culture and tradition.

Language and its vital importance is at the center of our way of life, our habits, and our traditions. It is in this context that Pintadera's affiliation with this network was only natural. Centro Mediterraneo Pintadera's Italian language and cultural courses are an integral part of a broader ethos. We promote activities that we hope lead to an intercultural exchange.

With the support of the Rete Ecoturismo Sardegna our students will have the opportunity to merge with the essence of Sardinia.
