A Pintadera is a round decorative stamp, usually made of clay, found widely in Neolithic cultures in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean. Pintaderas are thought to have been used to decorate bread. Recently some archaeologists claimed that pintaderas served as calendars in nuragic times. Here you can see photos of other ancient forms of pintaderas.
